Mbappe and Dembele Brace as PSG Humbles Lorient
Kylian Mbappe and Ousmane Dembele each scored twice to lead Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) to a comfortable 4-1 victory over Lorient in their French Ligue 1 clash.
The match started with both teams showing attacking intent, but it was PSG who took the lead in the 12th minute thanks to a clinical finish from Kylian Mbappe. The French forward doubled his tally just 10 minutes later, putting PSG firmly in control of the match.
Lorient managed to pull one back in the 35th minute through a goal from Ibrahima Koné, but PSG restored their two-goal lead before half-time when Ousmane Dembele found the back of the net.
The second half followed a similar pattern, with PSG dominating possession and creating several chances. Dembele put the game beyond doubt in the 67th minute with his second goal of the night, sealing a comfortable victory for the Parisians.
The win extends PSG's lead at the top of the Ligue 1 table to 12 points, with just six games remaining in the season. Lorient, meanwhile, remain in 16th place, just four points above the relegation zone.
