WEB General Hospital has announced a change in their writing team, with Chris Van Etten returning to serve as co-head writer alongside Elizabeth Korte. The move will see Van Etten reprise his previous role, which he held from October 2017 until stepping down in September 2021.
Van Etten and Korte will replace Bryan Mulchaney, who has exited his position as head writer. The new writing team is expected to debut on the August 9th episode of General Hospital, bringing their unique vision and storytelling abilities to the beloved soap opera.
Van Etten brings a wealth of experience to his role, having previously served as head writer for "One Life to Live" and "Guiding Light." He is known for his focus on character development and compelling storylines, which have earned him critical acclaim.
Korte, on the other hand, is a newcomer to the world of daytime television. However, she possesses a strong background in writing for primetime dramas, including "Scandal" and "How to Get Away with Murder." Her expertise in creating suspenseful and emotionally resonant narratives is expected to make a significant contribution to General Hospital.
