MILAN, Italy - Inter Milan beat city rivals AC Milan 1-0 in the Coppa Italia semi-final second leg on Tuesday to reach the final for the first time since 2011.
Lautaro Martinez scored the only goal of the game in the fourth minute, giving Inter Milan a 2-1 aggregate victory.
Inter Milan will now face Juventus in the final on May 11.
The game was played in front of a sell-out crowd at the San Siro, and the atmosphere was electric.
Inter Milan started the game brightly and took the lead early on when Martinez slotted home after being played through by Christian Eriksen.
AC Milan pushed for an equalizer, but Inter Milan defended resolutely and held on to their lead.
